So far.. 30/09/2009
![]() The jet lag is long gone and we have been driving for a minimum of about 3 hours each day continuing out journey around Lake Ontario. Niagara Falls was good but comparing it to Victoria Falls in Zambia and Foz Do Iguazu in Brazil/ Argentina it was big but not as impressive as the other 2. Water is so powerful, i admire the fluidity and grace as it flows over the cliff edge and the surrender as it moves over the edge to join the river below. Power, Grace and Fluidity - now that's something to strive for! Driving through Toronto was hectic and even tho we were just across the border into Canada there is a distinct difference between the driving, no offense Canada! The scenery was full of large landscapes of tall buildings and it felt nice when we arrived at our destination for the night. But the rain! It hasn't stopped for the last 2 days, everything is SUPER green and lush but wet, wet, wet. The next day we took it very slowly along the wet flooding roads continuing around the massive lake, deciding to check out a small town/ village Gananoque which is the Canadian Gate Way to the 1000 islands - its so pretty and tranquil! It looks a lot like Finland with all the lakes and pine trees. And the rain continues to pour down around us.. The following day we head off (in the rain) and start our journey to Burlington/ Vermont, this day was full of detours driving around a few of the islands and enjoying the scenery and wildlife in the wet. We cross the boarder back into America at Cornwall, stopping to eat and to take photos and finally we arrive at Burlington around 8pm. So far the Yoga is pretty minimal but feels good after sitting all day, only 2 more days till Trance Dance with Shiva!!! Add Comment And the journey begins... 19/09/2009
![]() 20th September 09 The journey started with international peace day celebration and 108 Sun Salutations. With great music we danced the night away and said our farewells, the bus to the airport left at 8am the next day. 24th September 09 After a few nights in Boston we picked up the hire car and drive into the Adirondack mountains. This place is beautiful! Right in the peak of Autumn/ Fall and all the leaves are bright and glowing orange, reds and lime green colours - such a surreal sight! 26th September 09 Leaving the autumn colours and freshness of the Adirondack mountains behind as we head west towards Niagara falls. The roads are wide and long, driving through little towns and villages admiring the big country town houses and wonder what people do here to keep themselves inspired.. We decide to spend the night at a road side motel called Evergreen Motel, the room is simple, clean and has a great shower! Waking up in the morning not really sure where we are but the sun is shining and Niagara is closer then ever! | DelamayA journey with the rhythm of Yoga and Dance..
