Adventuring out of San Juan as we head east to the islands! Vieques and Culebra - both just as pristine and beautiful as each other. Life on the islands is chillin, laid back and in their own island life time zone. Beach after beach line the shores with shade being provided by coconut palm trees, there is a beach for everyone. With the waters crystal clear and calm, it was very easy for the day to slip away as you get hypnotized by the soft and gentle rocking of the waves as they roll up onto the shore. In Vieques we went to see the Bio Bay at night which was out of this world! We kayaked into the lake at 8pm and as the paddles travel through the water the bioluminescent dinoflagellates light up the water just like the stars in the sky. Try to imagine swimming in the universe amongst the light of millions of stars glittering in the galaxy moving as one as you do, truly one of natures gifts to humanity.
