It took a while to adjust to the vibe in Dallas after being in Puerto Rico for so long! Its so spread out and nothing is in walking distance so most of the time is spent in a car. People's life here on first impression seems to revolve around shopping and eating fast food. There are drive through ATM bank machines, chemists and food so its catered for a lifestyle of not even leaving your car! The first week was spent at the studio in the club house where we were staying, doing yoga every day, deepening the practice of self exploration in back bends and getting material together for my the workshop i am teaching on the 20th. The second week i re connected with Kate who is also in town, she introduced me to Leanne Hall who teaches full time in Dallas and has such a beautiful way of expressing and teaching yoga. We all had lunch together which really felt like a gathering of old friends, uniting over good food and inspiring conversation! I attended a workshop with Wade Morissette which was a sweaty vinyasa practice for 2 days, i really appreciate experiencing other teaches who are on the same path but with a different way of expressing the flow. Omshanti for now as i shift my energy into the next part of this adventure!
