Malaysian Flow 06/06/2010
![]() Leaving Chiang Mai with a smile we flew south to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia where i was teaching a weekend of Chakra Vinyasa workshops, flowing through the chakras with creative sequences, bliss! First stop was SunYoga, a great space and a short journey from the city centre. On the Friday morning (Wesak) i was invited to lead a round and join the studio during their 108 Sun Salutations which was a sweaty way to wake up but also a great offering for charity. After the 108 we all went out for lunch ending with a banoffee pie which was well deserved! The following day i felt so blessed with the response from the workshop, so many willing people wanting to come and join in the flow during their long weekend. The group had amazing dynamics together with the ability to laugh and let go of inhibitions during our movement meditation for Ajna chakra (3rd eye) to the focus and inner peace which radiated during our Anahata chakra (heart) flow. Upon leaving i was invited to come back and teach again in the future so watch this space! We left Kuala Lumpur with Brandon who is the owner and manager of Inner-Living Yoga studio in Melaka. About 2 hours later we arrive in Melaka, its smaller then KL and is a harbor town so there is the coastal breeze which is a refreshing change. The group here was smaller which meant more intimate, we were able to delve deeper and take time to reflect. We were also joined by Joanne (Brandon's wife who is heavily pregnant) i was suprised at how much she was able to do being a pregnant goddess! After the workshop we spent some time exploring Melaka, a very historical city centre which was listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site since July 2008. Like Singapore it is a melting pot of cultures with Temples, Wats, Mosque's and Churches all on one street! Leaving Malaysia, we headed south for a few days to Singapore and then our time came to leave Asia all together as we follow the rising sun to Europe to continue this dance around the globe..
