With February being all about nourishment, March came and it was time to get physical with adding more Vira's / Warriors into my practice! Time to cut out the wheat and sugar during a spontaneous cleanse and of course a trip to LA for the Advance Vinyasa Training with my maha teacher Shiva Rea, Pranadanda with Dimitri, Ayurveda lectures by Maria Garre, amazing Tantric Shaivism insights from Christopher Tompkins and transformational music by Steve Gold. A gathering of the tribe at Venice beach, California :) I was amazed that the Exhale studio still had the familiar holistic scent as when i was there in 2008! In amongst the early morning practices and late night lectures there was time to soak up the Venice beach vibe, watch the vast range of extroverts which roam the boardwalk and of course get a good dose of retail therapy in Santa Monica ie: Hardtail! But of course it wasnt all about the shopping, there were the familiar faces to catch up with, pancakes to eat while watching the filming of the TV program NCIS, moon rises to witness and the pacific ocean to dip my toes into... alas it was too cold for a swim but it felt good to be by the familiar ocean again. Towards the end of my stay i even managed to squeeze in a class with the very present teacher Erich Schiffmann and connect with my cousin who i had not seen for about 10 years, wow how time flies! Leaving such a diverse place and saying good bye (or see you soon) to new sistars and Prana flow brothers is always hard but we are all part of a globally tribe which means we will be enjoying each others company again soon :) Next stop is Brighton, UK to offer some workshops on Mothers day and for the Spring Equinox, marking and remembering sacred days throughout the year helps me realise that each cycle of the moon or sun is bringing us closer to the next cycle which is also full of sacred moments which means if we didnt get a chance to complete whatever was happening then we can use the new cycle of energy to continue on with our projects and so the adventure continues. Spring time is here in the northern hemisphere, time for renewal, time to welcome in the light as the days grow longer and warmer and a perfect time to really dig deep and plant the seeds and water them with your sweet nectar of intentions for the coming 6 months cycle. So enjoy embracing the light inside of you and i hope too see it shining far and wide across the oceans reaching for whatever it is you need in order for your dreams to blossom and become the juiciest fruits of the year!
